Assistant SENDCo (Level 3)

32.5 hours per week

Term Time only plus 5 Inset days plus 5 days holiday working

8.30am-3.30pm Monday to Friday

Scale H 17-22

Starting Salary £24,038.82

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and highly organised Assistant SENDCo to support our inclusive and nurturing school community. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed individual who is passionate about improving outcomes for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

The successful candidate will work closely with our experienced SENDCo and wider staff team to:

Provide administrative support for SEND processes, including:

Supporting the SENDCo to prepare and submit Education, Health and Care (EHC) referral paperwork

Supporting the coordination and documentation of Annual Review meetings

Coordinate and deliver targeted interventions to support pupils with SEND, ensuring provision is responsive to individual needs

Work directly with pupils, offering pastoral and academic support to enable them to access learning and make progress

Work alongside the SENDCo to liaise effectively with families, external agencies, and professionals, ensuring strong partnership working and clear communication
