A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Oncology Nurse to join a busy and successful research delivery team within the NIHR/Clinical Research Facility at UHB as a Band 6 Research Sister/Charge Nurse. The NIHR/CRF is an early-phase research unit focused on experimental medicine, delivering a diverse portfolio of complex interventional studies spanning both commercial and academic research.

This role is primarily to support the delivery of early phase oncology trials with a focus on Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (ECMC) trials. The ECMC is a leading UK wide initiative that focuses on advancing the development of new and novel oncology treatments.

The post holder will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of multi-specialty oncology clinical trials. You will work closely with Principal Investigators and the wider multidisciplinary team to support the safe and effective implementation of complex clinical trial protocols. Support and development will be given to the successful candidate by the existing experienced[FL1.1] Early phase Nursing team.
