A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and self-motivated Band 7 Physiotherapist to join the Musculoskeletal Outpatient Physiotherapy service within Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Trust as a split post of Clinician and Research Lead.
Our Musculoskeletal Service is a busy and forward thinking provider of Community Outpatient Physiotherapy across twenty clinic sites in Birmingham serving a diverse population. We receive referrals for acute and chronic conditions from GPs, ESPs and self referrals. We have strong links with the Orthopaedic Triage and the local Pain Service.
Evidence of extensive experience of working in an Outpatient Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy environment is essential.You should be able to demonstrate up to date knowledge and evidence of CPD in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and be prepared to contribute to our comprehensive IST programme.
In addition, the post holder will be the Research Lead for the MSK teams, acting as the focal point for Research Projects and facilitiating involvement of MSK clinicians in participation within clinical trials both locally and nationally.
Applicants should have a degree or equivalent in Physiotherapy, be working at Band 6 or 7 level currently and have HCPC registration.
