Job description

To assist the Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist Team in delivering a high level of service to breast cancer patients.

The Assistant Practitioner works as a skilled, compassionate practitioner delivering safe, effective, and evidence-based care, working with a degree of autonomy but always within defined parameters and under the supervision of a registered professional.

The postholder will:o Contribute to assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient carewithin set protocols and within the scope of the Assistant Practitioner remit.o Undertake delegated clinical and non-clinical tasks requiring technical knowledge and judgement.o Support staff in the development of clinical procedures, protocols and practice to ensure effective delivery of service to patients in the Trust.o Undertake all relevant forms of care with minimal supervision and delegate work appropriately to other members of the teamo Maintain high standards of professional behaviour, aligning practice with the Trust's values.

Interviews will potentially be held on the 13th July 2026.
