We are looking to appoint a caring, friendly and professional School Business Assistant to join our busy school office.

Fairfield Infant and Nursery School is a nurturing and inclusive school located in Buxton, Derbyshire. We currently welcome 152 pupils from Nursery to Year 2 and are a relationship and attachment aware school.

The successful candidate will join us in September 2026, working each day, 22.5 hours per week (8:30am to 1:00pm), term time only (39 weeks). This is a fixed term contract until the end of August 2027.

You will work closely with the Business Manager and provide effective and efficient clerical support across school, assisting and completing a variety of administration and financial tasks. You will ensure all procedures are carried out in line with our school policies and be able to demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. You will be the first point of contact for our parents and visitors so good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
