Although the recruiting Trust is North London NHS Foundation Trust, this post is based in Birmingham and there is no expectation for successful candidate to be travelling to Trust sites in London on a regular basis.
This is a unique opportunity to do something different and join the CCS Central Hub, based in the West Midlands. An exciting job opportunity has arisen to join our newly commissioned Counter Terrorism Clinical Consultancy Service (CTCCS). This is a joint team with Counter Terrorism Policing and the NHS.
The Counter Terrorism Clinical Consultancy Service (CTCSS) is a joint NHS and Police Mental Health Team which facilitates information sharing with local mental health services for individuals who have come to the attention of Counter Terrorism Policing and who are thought to either present a risk of serious harm or have safeguarding, welfare or treatment needs in the context of mental disorder.
The aim of the team is to work with counter-terrorism officers in assessing and managing the risks posed by individuals with severe mental illness through advice, consultation, and detailed formulations to aid understanding.
