Business Support Officer

Warwickshire County Council

Job description

Make a real difference behind the scenes in Adult Social Care.

As a Business Support Officer, you’ll be part of a fast-paced, supportive team helping to keep vital services running smoothly for adults across Warwickshire. From processing referrals and arranging care packages to liaising with social workers, providers and service users, this is a varied and rewarding role where your organisation, adaptability and communication skills will have a direct impact every day. If you enjoy working collaboratively, managing competing priorities and being part of a team that helps people live independently, we’d love to hear from you.

Warwickshire County Council highlights Adult Social Care as a service focused on supporting vulnerable adults to live independently, and Business Support Officer roles in this sector commonly involve accurate administration, handling enquiries, maintaining systems and coordinating with internal and external partners.

For this campaign, we are working in partnership with the Fair Chance Programme.

What do we mean by 'Fair Chance'?

Our Fair Chance Employment Programme is an innovative and inclusive programme developed with Warwickshire employers to support them in making their recruitment process more flexible, more inclusive and ultimately more accessible to a wider talent pool of people who may have barriers accessing the job market.

The Warwickshire Skills Hub Business Advisors provide a free skills & training review throughout the business to see where a Fair Chance Employee opportunity may be considered. This may include 'job carving' which looks at a job description and carves responsibilities or tasks in order to make it inclusive to a person's specific needs.
