Job DescriptionLeisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.

We are looking for casual staff to assist in the delivery of sport and physical activity sessions.

When work is available you will be contacted. There is no obligation for Leisure & Culture Dundee to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. The rate of pay is £14.12 per hour.RequirementsNGB Award in any sport or Sports Leaders Award level 2 or NC Sports Coaching or SVQ Level 2 Sports Coaching AwardResponsibilitiesAs part of a dynamic Active Dundee section you will assist in the delivery of sport and physical activity sessions, subject to National Governing Body minimum qualifications, for Leisure & Culture Dundee, coaching to a variety of groups, whilst adhering, where relevant, to Scottish Governing Body (S.G.B.) guidelines and specified coach to participant ratios.The IndividualYou will have experience in practical paid/ voluntary sports coaching. Experience of working with children from a variety of background, and. experience of planning structured activity/sports sessions.

You will have excellent organisational and planning skills. You will have the ability to work in a team and the ability to work independently. You will be strongly self motivated. Ability to communicate effectively with children and young people.

You will have strong interpersonal skills and be flexible and adaptable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and enthuse others.

You must be willing to work flexible hours including weekend work where required and be willing to undertake personal development.

Member of PVG Scheme or willingness to become a member of the PVG Scheme with satisfactory Scheme Record and/or Scheme Record Update.
