Catering Assistant

Hours: 11.25 hours per week, Monday - Friday 11.45am - 2pm

Location: All Saints Church of England Infants Academy

Salary: £25,614 pro rata

Actual salary: £6,739

Contract: Fixed until 31-08-2027

We are looking to recruit a Catering Assistant into our dedicated and welcoming team. The purpose of this role is to support the School Cook in providing and serving a varied and balanced diet for children during their lunch time.

About you

As a catering assistant you will,

You will have the ability to work efficiently and to a time schedule

Be passionate about tasty and healthy meals for children

A team player, willing to work closely with likeminded people who all have the children’s best interest at heart

Have an excellent understanding of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards

Be a positive role model to the children within our school

Experience of working in a similar role and setting would be an advantage however it is not essential as full training will be provided.
