Position: Cleaner (Permanent), Term Time Plus inset days

Hours: 3:30pm-6:00pm, 12.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

Salary: Grade 1, SCP3

About the Role

As a Cleaner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring that our school environment is clean, safe and welcoming for pupils, staff and visitors. You will be part of our dedicated site team and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the school by maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation across all areas.

Key responsibilities:

Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal spaces to a high standard

Ensuring cleaning materials are used safely and stored appropriately

Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules as directed

Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly to the Site Manager

Supporting the wider site team when required to ensure the school remains safe and well-maintained

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Experienced in cleaning or able to demonstrate transferable skills

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently

Able to take pride in maintaining a high-quality environment

Attentive to detail, with good time management skills

Committed to contributing positively to our school community
