Vacancy:                  Cleaner (mornings or afternoons)

Start date:                September 2026

Contract details:     Permanent

14.25 Hours per Week

42 weeks per year, term time plus 3 weeks

Grade 1, SCP 3 (pro rata)

We are a Multi Academy Trust comprising of six secondary schools and one primary school with over 750 employees and over 5,500 students, based in Dudley, West Midlands.

We are seeking a to join our Cleaning Department. Cleaners are responsible for a wide range of cleaning duties and responsibilities, which include ensuring that the school is cleaned every day to the required standard/specification.

Working safely using correct warning signs, protective clothing and safety equipment and being mindful of hazards to other staff and students. Compliance with the Health and Safety practices of the Trust/School.

Experience:

Previous experience of working in a school or education setting would be desirable but not essential.

Working Hours:

We are flexible regarding the working pattern for this role and can offer either early morning or afternoon hours.

The morning working pattern is as follows:

Monday: 7:00am – 10:30am

Tuesday: 7:00am – 9:30am

Wednesday: 7:00am – 9:30am

Thursday: 7:00am – 9:30am

Friday: 7:00am – 10:15am

The afternoon working pattern is as follows:

Monday: 2:30pm – 6:00pm

Tuesday: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

Wednesday: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

Thursday: 3:30pm – 6:00pm

Friday: 2:30pm – 5:45pm
