Mon – Fri Term Time Only - 7.5 hours per week

+ additional 30 hours during school holidays

& INSET days

Grade 1 SCP3 £12.85 per hour

Actual Salary £4,946 (pay award pending) – paid over 12 months

The Governors of The Hednesford Hills Federation are offering the opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join our cleaning team at West Hill Primary School.

We are a very hardworking and committed team of professionals who work together to provide a welcoming, safe and “good” school.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner who can commit to working 1.5 hours per day during term time – working between 6-8am, who can also support occasional additional hours to cover absences, and regular additional hours to perform deep cleans during school holidays.

What you may be doing:

  • Working under the direction of the cleaning supervisor
  • Cleaning designated areas, e.g. classrooms / offices / washrooms
  • Mopping, sweeping, spray cleaning, damp wiping, vacuuming, as required
  • Ensuring your area is clean and well kept Supporting colleagues in other areas where required

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is friendly and approachable
  • Works well as an individual or as part of a team
  • Shows initiative and common sense Is reliable, honest and trustworthy
  • Adheres to policies and procedures in relation to their role
