Required to start September 2026

Part Time Fixed Term Until 01/08/2027

Monday to Friday Breakfast Club 7.5 hours per week Time : 7:15 to 8:30 From £15.06 per hour

£29,064-£32,061 FTE

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary Academy is looking to appoint a Breakfast Club Supervisor who is able to relate well to children and support their needs after school each day. The role is Part Time term time only, and fixed term for 12 months in the first instance, with the possibility of being made permanent.

The appointed candidate will join our happy and forward-thinking academy and will work under the direction and instruction of senior staff to help provide safe and stimulating care for children.

Duties include:

  • Helping to plan a range of suitable activities for children with an age range of 4 - 11 on a half-termly basis;
  • Treating all children as individuals and to have a secure knowledge and understanding of their needs while they are within our care;
  • Motivating and encouraging the children to participate in activities and helping to promote the children’s self-esteem and encouraging acceptance of children with special needs;
  • Ensuring a clean, tidy environment conducive to fostering good Health and Safety practice and to help prepare nutritional snacks for children;
  • Ensuring the welfare and safety of children within our care;
  • Contributing to the strong Catholic ethos of our academy;
  • Working in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors.

Corpus Christi Catholic Primary Academy is part of the St Gabriel the Archangel Catholic Multi Academy Trust.

All appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references, and pre-employment medical clearance. In line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE), online searches will also be carried out for shortlisted candidates. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
