Coffee Shop Supervisor

St Giles School · Retford

Job description

Join Our Team at Xavier’s - More Than Just a Coffee Shop!

Location: Retford Town Centre

Xavier’s is a unique, student-run coffee shop nestled in the heart of Retford. Open to the public throughout the week, we’ve built a strong and loyal customer base who not only love our coffee but also support the meaningful mission behind it.

At Xavier’s, we do more than serve great drinks and food - we’re preparing students for life. Our coffee shop forms an essential part of our Preparation for Adulthood model, offering real-world work experience and social interaction in a supportive, community-focused environment. Every shift is an opportunity for our students to gain valuable, transferrable skills in hospitality, teamwork, and communication.

We are currently looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team. If you have a flair for hospitality, a passion for working with young people, and a desire to make a real difference, we want to hear from you!

In this role, you’ll:

  • Help create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for both customers and students
  • Support pupils in developing hands-on work experience
  • Play an active part in building bridges between our students and the local community
  • Contribute to a thriving learning environment where students are empowered to excel and achieve their dreams

This is more than just a job - it's a chance to be part of something truly special.
