Consultant Neurosurgeon - Skullbase (Lateral and Facial Pain)

The Manchester Centre for Clinical Neurosciences, based at Salford Royal Hospital and part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, is seeking to appoint a Consultant Neurosurgeon specialising in Skull Base Surgery to join our established and highly regarded Neurosurgery Department.
This is a replacement post that will support the continued delivery of our comprehensive 360-degree skull base service.
The successful applicant will focus on lateral skull base pathology, with vestibular schwannoma surgery and facial pain forming two major areas of clinical practice. In addition, the post holder will join the NF2 service and play an important role in the multidisciplinary management of these patients, including auditory brainstem implantation.
