⏳ Contract and Working Pattern: Permanent, 36 hours per week, term time plus 5 days

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to supervise classes in the absence of teachers and ensure pupils remain engaged in their learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise classes and ensure work set is completed.
- Register attendance and maintain behaviour and progress records.
- Promote positive behaviour and inclusion.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Support with basic administrative tasks, displays, and exam invigilation.
- Contribute to school activities, meetings, and training.
- Supervise pupils during form time, seclusion, and school events as needed.
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE or equivalent).
- Confident classroom management and good communication skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, calmly and independently.
- Good organisation and ICT skills.
- Enjoyment of working with young people.
- Commitment to safeguarding and equality.
Desirable:
- Experience in a school setting, knowledge of SIMS, First Aid training, or experience supporting families.
