The Dental Training Unit and the Community Dental service are looking for an individual to join their team to commence asap.
This is a full time post for 37.5 hours per week. The service will require the successful candidate to be available to work on Monday- Friday, 8:30-16:30pm. The purpose of this post is to work with the Health Board and the Welsh Deanery to improve, facilitate and develop dental health care services in the SBU area, by providing:-
- Comprehensive general dental services to patients.
- Comprehensive care to child and adult patients in the Community Dental Services.
- To be able to triage and be part of the GA assessment pathway within CDS. The unit is engaged in the GDS Reform Programme.
The objective is to reduce inequalities in oral health status and improve access to the NHS dental services by providing an accessible comprehensive range of primary care services. To support the training and mentoring of the Dental Foundation Trainees and dental team as and when requested by the Senior Educational Lead.
