Job description

The Fracture Liaison Nurse is responsible for coordinating the assessment, investigation, and management of patients aged 50 and over who have sustained a fragility fracture, with the aim of preventing future fractures. The role involves working both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure timely identification, treatment, education, and follow-up of patients at risk of osteoporosis.

The post holder will contribute to service delivery, quality improvement, and national reporting requirements, while maintaining high standards of clinical care and data management. The role also requires strong IT proficiency, including the use of electronic patient records, databases, and Microsoft Office applications--particularly Excel--for data tracking, audit, and reporting purposes.
