Job description
  • The GESH CYP Nurse (SGUH) post in Safeguarding children is a vital role within our team based at St Georges Hospital.
  • Working closely with the Safeguarding children team, clinician's across the organisation and with our wider partnerships, this role ensures timely discussion/liaison to safeguard children and and families at risk.
  • The role is not patient facing, but require visiting the wards where it may be necessary to have conversations with patients and their families. You will be working collaboratively with a wide range of people and will need to be able to communicate effectively.
  • You will need to be aware of themes emerging locally and nationally relating to safeguarding children and families, and bring a keen interest in sharing information via our training / teaching programmes.
