Head of School

Salary: L8 - L12 (£61,534 to £67,898)

Location: Essex

Hours : 32.5 hours per week (19.5 Head of School + 13 Teaching)

To help us with this, we are looking to appoint a new Head of School at Dr Walker’s Church of England Primary School.

You will:

Share our commitment to building great learning communities for our pupils

Have a commitment to supporting the Christian distinctiveness of a Church school in line with Diocese guidance and the Church of England vision for education

Inspire pupils with a passion for learning

Understand specific learning needs/styles to differentiate support to pupils

Be able to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking

Have a desire to help all pupils succeed

Demonstrate compassion towards the needs of the pupils

Be able to share verbal information clearly and sensitively with pupils and adults

Be able to work with a range of colleagues

Work collaboratively across the school
