Housing Nominations and Allocations Officer

Job description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to deliver the Housing Allocations and Nominations role in the Housing Strategy & Commissioning Team, who work to increase the supply of, and access to, social, affordable, specialist and supported accommodation.

The postholder will support the Housing Strategy & Commissioning team working across a range of delivery models and partners to meet housing need across a broad spectrum of client groups.

The role provides an opportunity to play a key role in delivering housing solutions that support independence, wellbeing and better outcomes for residents, using robust data and evidence to inform decision making, shape investment priorities and ensure solutions are targeted to local needs.

  • The salary range £29,064 - £31,022 Pro-rata (NJC – Scale 5)
  • Qualifications required for the job – 5 GCSE’s including Maths and English, A levels/NVQ 3 or BTEC or the equivalent in terms of a combination of relevant qualifications and experience.
  • Working location or job base – Home based with 1 day per week min SW1 and other office days as required to meet business need
  • The pattern of working, type of contract and hours* - Part time 18.5hrs pw. Fixed term contract for 2 years, secondments can also be considered for internal applicants
