Job overviewDo you have experience in relationship building? Do you have the passion and motivation to work with aspirational young people and employers?Following a significant success and expansion of our T level programmes we are looking for an Industry Placement Coordinator help to develop lasting relationships with local employers and help to generate placement opportunities for our T-Level students and employment opportunities.

Aston University Engineering is recognised as a national leader for T-Levels and benefits from a strong reputation and sponsorship from many of the UK’s leading businesses.

Our T-Levels include Engineering: Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, Aerospace, Health: Nursing, Midwifery, Optometry, Business: Accounting, Finance and Legal.

We are seeking a positive and confident person with excellent communication skills to join our existing placement team. Training is provided, however, we are seeking individuals who either have experience in one of the above subjects or strong skills at relationship building and be confident to generate leads over the telephone.

Knowledge of the local and regional labour market is an advantage, as is some experience of sales, but personality, drive and commitment are most important.

It is essential that you have your own transport and business insurance would be provided for this role, as you will be expected to travel.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team on this significant program and provide a blend of external employer engagement and networking alongside internal student liaison and support. Opportunities for flexible working exist with this role.
