Junior Clinical Fellow- Cardiology

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in a career in Cardiology to work alongside a rapidly growing service supporting Cardiology patients in hospital. This post Is based on the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital site. The junior clinical fellow will support the clinical and administrative workload of the cardiology team. Duties include clerking patients, arranging urgent investigations and procedures, performing procedures within scope of competency, prescribing medications and blood products, and interpreting basic cardiology diagnostic results. The post holder will attend ward rounds, cath lab, MDT meetings and daily hand-over. This post will provide broad experience in Cardiology and participation in the general medicine on-call rota is not a requirement of this post but may be available.Although this post does not have formal training approval, the educational and training opportunities, work patterns and salary scale are identical to the Royal College of Physicians' Approved Resident doctor Posts.Due to the high volumes of applications we receive for certain posts and depending our service needs, we reserve the right to close any adverts before the published closing date After the closing date we strongly advise you check the email account which is registered.
