Lead Nurse for Targeted Lung Health

Are you a compassionate and experienced nurse looking for a fulfilling role in the hospital and healthcare industry?

We are seeking a Lead Nurse for our Targeted Lung Health programme to join our dedicated team and make a difference in the lives of our patients.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the delivery of care to patients with lung health issues.

You will facilitate the clinical flow of the Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) lung screening participants that have an abnormality reported on their CT scan and support the delivery of the national optimal lung cancer pathway within Devon, both for screening identified patients and those referred via conventional routes.

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about respiratory health and has strong leadership skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a nursing role, preferably in a hospital setting and should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make critical decisions.

This is a 37.5 hours per week fixed term 12 month or secondment to cover maternity leave, it will be an opportunity to join our service in the Lung Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialists service (covering both the Lung CNS team and Screening program team), helping to provide a service for the care of and ongoing management of patients with Thoracic malignancy.
