Eastern Education Group is seeking a highly motivated Lecturer in Engineering with expertise in electrical and/or mechanical engineering to join our established teaching team. This role involves delivering high-quality, industry-relevant teaching across a range of programmes, including HNC, HND, and Degree-level Engineering courses aligned with Apprenticeships;ensuring learners are equipped with the advanced knowledge and practical skills required for progression within the engineering and manufacturing sector.
You will play a key role in supporting both higher education and further education learners, including apprentices, through effective teaching, assessment, and academic guidance. A strong focus on maintaining professional standards in curriculum delivery, assessment practice, and learner outcomes is essential, alongside the ability to contextualise learning to industry expectations and standards.
The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications and bring current industry experience within electrical and/or mechanical engineering/manufacturing. Whilst teaching experience is advantageous, we also welcome applicants with the capability and commitment to transition into education, supported by appropriate training. Strong organisational, communication, and learner support skills are essential.
