The headteacher and governors of St. John’s CE (A) Primary School are excited that an opportunity has arisen to appoint an Office Liaison Associate to support the school community in moving to its next level of school improvement. We are seeking to appoint a committed and highly focused individual, who can support the school ethos to ensure our families, visitors and children are welcomed at St. John’s.
We are a maintained Church of England Voluntary Aided School with 280 pupils on roll. As the first contact for parents and visitors you will embody the values of our school and be a warm and welcoming presence in our busy school office. You will understand the importance of getting to know our children and their families in order to effectively support them as part of the wider school team.
The successful candidate will be able to prioritise tasks effectively, play a key role in managing school admissions and the induction of families, contribute to systems and structures and support the wider Leadership Team. You will also need to have flexibility and be able to problem solve on a daily basis along with the business team.
Therefore, it is essential that applicants are professional, approachable and very effective and articulate communicators. We invite candidates ideally from a range of educational backgrounds who will share our vision and passion for education and our Christian ethos.
For such a key role we are asking possible applicants to visit the school prior to application. Please email recruitment@stjohnscea.org.uk to book a convenient time.
St. John’s is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role. If shortlisted a social media check will be undertaken on candidates.
