Studley Infant’s School is looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic and committed Office Manager to our friendly team. Studley Infants School is a warm, inclusive and nurturing school where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to reach their full potential at the very start of their educational journey. You will be responsible for:

  • Organising and providing effective school administration for the school.
  • Personnel Administration including safer recruitment, payroll and the maintenance of personnel records.
  • Inputting and retrieving information on financial packages, raising invoices and completing bank reconciliation.
  • Contributing to the school’s statutory duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children

Your qualities will include

  • Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths and grade A-C
  • Knowledge of specialist ICT packages, e.g. finance and MIS systems.
  • Experience of office administration
  • Good communication skills, oral and written
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Valuing and respecting the views and needs of children
  • Displaying commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people.

As this role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check with a Barred List check. Our pre-employment process will also include Teacher Prohibition List checks, overseas checks (where applicable); proof of qualifications (as specified in the person specification); section 128 checks (for those in management roles); medical fitness checks; identity and right to work checks.  Applicants for roles working with children under five years during the school day and under eight years for those working in wraparound care will also be subject to Childcare Disqualification checks.
