Job description

We are seeking a committed School Administrator (Pastoral) to take a lead role in managing the school’s attendance procedures and offering support to our busy Pastoral Team. The successful candidate will oversee daily attendance checks, follow up on absences, produce attendance reports and liaise with parents, carers and external agencies.  Much of the role centres on supporting attendance improvement across our school.

Alongside attendance, you will provide general pastoral administration and assistance, and support safeguarding processes. Strong communication skills, accuracy and the ability to stay calm in a busy environment are essential.

This is a one‑year position in the first instance, with the potential to extend beyond the initial term. If you are organised, approachable and passionate about supporting young people, we welcome your application.

The starting date for this role is Tuesday 1st September 2026. The working hours will be 35 per week - 8.00am til 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
