The
governors at St Paul’s C of E Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced,
full time Site Manager who has excellent knowledge of building maintenance work
along with excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise workloads and
who works well collaboratively.
What do we need in a new Site Manager at
our school? Someone who is able to:
- provide a
caretaking service which ensures that the school is kept safe and secure and
welcoming for pupils and the wider school community
- ensure
the safeguarding of the school through managing the physical environment and
overseeing external contractors
- prepare
maintenance programmes and manage external contractors
- look
after the security of the school
- ensure
that the school premises and furnishings are cleaned up to an excellent standard. This includes managing the contract cleaning
staff
- provide a
portering service
- be self-motivated
and show initiative
- be keen
to develop professional expertise
- enjoy
working with supportive staff, governors and the wider community
