SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant

We welcome applications from excellent practitioners who have:
- An NVQ3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience
- Excellent classroom practice and are able to lead a room and adapt provision to meet need.
- Experience and expertise in supporting pupils with Speech, Language and Communication Needs and those with a diagnosis of autism.
- Experience in delivering bespoke, nurturing curricula for pupils who may be working below age-related expectation and require personalised learning pathways.
- The ability to support and develop communication-friendly and emotionally supportive environments.
- The ability to adapt provision for pupils with SEND and EAL, ensuring inclusive and high-quality learning experiences.
- The ability to share learning with others, helping colleagues to develop their skills and understanding
- The ability to provide nurturing environments for all pupils, with experience of working with pupils with SEMH needs.
