Job description

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Senior Practitioner to join the Connect: West Yorkshire Eating Disorder Service on a 1 year contract to cover maternity leave. We are looking for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse or Occupational Therapist to join our award winning team.

The service delivers community treatment to Leeds and West Yorkshire residents with a diagnosed Eating Disorder. In addition, the service also provides care and support, and looks to improve patient's quality of life, and manage physical risks associated with this client group to a small group of patients who are accessing Connect's Enrichment and FREED pathways'. There is an expectation that the successful candidate will work across these pathways therefore flexibility and adaptability are essential qualities that need to be demonstrated.

The community service is CCG commissioned, and treatment will be focused on recovery from the individuals Eating Disorder.

The service have a number of pathways which are tailored to treat our patient group, therefore as a member of the team you will be involved with patients who have signed up to a pathway within Connect. You will be delivering specific treatment interventions on a 1.1 bases, plus co-facilitating group work to a defined group of patients.
