Chestnut Park Primary School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing team, providing tailored support for pupils within our specialist resource provision and across mainstream classrooms.

What we're looking for:
- Experience as a Primary or Special School Teaching Assistant
- Good General Education including English and Maths at Grade C GCSE or equivalent
- Commitment to undertaking further specialist training or qualifications relating to the field(s) of SEND, including SEMH, SLCN and Autism
- Extensive experience of working with pupils with SENd
- A good working knowledge of SEN Policy and the SEND Code of Practice

The Details
Start Date: 1st September 2026
Salary: GLF Specialist Point 1 - £27,061 + Outer London Weighting Allowance
Actual Salary: £22,633.74 + Outer London Weighting Allowance
Hours: 35hrs per week. 8:30 – 4pm 30 mins unpaid break
Closing Date: Wednesday 1st July at 9.30am
