The Role

This Teaching Assistant post involves providing both in-class support to teachers and, at times, one-to-one support for children with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting teaching and learning within the classroom
  • Working closely with pupils with SEND, helping them access lessons and achieve their full potential
  • Delivering targeted interventions to support individual needs
  • Covering classes when required, including PPA cover and short-term absence due to illness

Full training will be provided where needed, particularly in relation to SEND support and interventions.
