The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual who will be able to work as part of a team in a flexible role. They will flourish working under their own initiative, showing patience, understanding and advocating a real sense of team.
- Support specific children and adapt materials to suit their needs. Working with whole class, individuals or small groups of children. Supporting teachers to ensure specific children are making progress. Engaging children in learning opportunities. Managing behaviour effectively. Having high standards and expectations of all children. Supervise the activities of individuals or groups of children to ensure their safety and facilitate their physical and emotional development. Assist with the implementation of EHCP targets for a specific named pupil; Establish positive working relationships with the pupil and within the school as a whole, acting as a role model and setting high expectations; Promote inclusion for the pupil within day-to-day school life; Provide one-to-one support for a named pupil, recognising and responding to their individual needs;
