Newborough Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of Newborough. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. The school prides itself on its inclusive nurturing approach and strives to ensure that all pupils thrive and have a brilliant start to their education! Newborough CofE Primary School is a welcoming, single-form entry school that joined the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust (PDET) in December 2024. This partnership has opened up exciting opportunities for staff development and career progression through research-informed practice and extensive CPD programs.

We are looking for someone who is:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, friendly and positive about their role in education and contribution to our whole school community
- Can work creatively with the teacher to establish an appropriate learning environment, meeting the needs of the pupils and curriculum
- Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently
- Shows initiative and creativity in different learning situations
- Is keen to support the ethos of a Church school.
- Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare- both at home and in school.

Newborough is a proud member of PDET, alongside 35 other schools in the Rutland, Peterborough and Northamptonshire area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
