New Brighton Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 1 Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This role will involve working closely with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them to access learning, develop confidence and achieve their full potential.

We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about children and is committed to making a positive difference in their lives. The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers and other professionals to provide high-quality support tailored to individual pupils' needs.

The successful candidate will:

Have a warm, patient and nurturing approach to working with children.

Demonstrate a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Show flexibility, resilience and a willingness to learn.

Work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative when required.

Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.

Have experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)  although this is desirable rather than essential.

Are committed to inclusive education and ensuring every child can succeed.

Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
