The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Teaching Assistant to be part of the team at Redgate Primary Academy to support pupils with severe learning difficulties, under the leadership and supervision of the Principal and the Lead Teaching Assistants.
The successful candidate will:
- Believe that every child deserves a champion regardless of their learning disabilities
- Believe in the importance of inspiring our children and making a difference to their lives
- Go the extra mile to ensure they receive the very best outcomes, experience and holistic care
- Work collaboratively and know that relationships are key within our community
- Hold a relevant qualification and have experience of working with SEN

Essential
- Display commitment to protection and safeguarding of children and young people
- An understanding of specific learning difficulties and or physical impairments.
Desirable
- Work constructively as part of a team, understanding classroom roles and responsibilities and own position within these.
