Codsall Community High is a comprehensive school for Years 9 to 13 situated in a semi-rural area of Staffordshire near Wolverhampton. It has over a thousand students on roll and almost three hundred in its highly successful sixth form.
We are looking for a highly motivated, emphatic and energetic member of staff to work closely with our SEND team to provide the support needed to help our young people achieve success.
Our goal is to provide the very best education for the children in the community we serve. We do this by ensuring our staff feel valued and part of a wider family, through investing in the ongoing professional development of all staff.
Students in our school have real potential. This role provides a chance to work with them and their families closely, building strong relationships and to be the difference that some need on their educational journey. Working as part of the SEND team in school, no two days are the same and you will experience a wide range of challenges and rewards as you see the students you work with flourish.
We offer you a workplace where colleagues are supportive and student/teacher relationships are excellent. This is a school that enjoys success and values the staff that make it possible.
To arrange an informal discussion about the post or to visit the school please contact Miss Williams, the Headteacher’s PA, at dwl@sslp.uk
