Job description

The post holder will support service development, supervise and manage the CLDN team. The post holder will provide specialist health and behaviour assessments to children and young people who are referred into the service. Interventions will be delivered across different settings, including the home, school or clinic / hospital based. The post holder will work in partnership with children, young people, their families and carers and other health / social / educational professionals to achieve positive health outcomes for children and young people with learning disabilities.

The role provides clinical nursing expertise to children and young people referred to the team and be responsible for the management of a defined case load. The post holder will require strong reporting skills, good organisational skills and staff management skills.

The service operates Monday - Friday 0900-1700, excluding bank holidays.
