Job description

We are

seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed volunteers to join ourTrust Board

Would

Do you believe you can be a dedicated, diligent

As a Trustee, your role is to ensure:

  • Strong, strategic leadership of the trust

through its vision for high quality and inclusive education.

  • Accountability and assurance for the

operations and performance of the trust, including the provision of education,

pupil and staff welfare, overseeing and ensuring appropriate use of funding and

effective financial performance.

  • Effective engagement with stakeholders.

Prior governance experience is not

essential as training and support is provided, however we would particularly

welcome interest from people with experience in:

  • Primary

and Secondary Education.

  • Special

Educational Needs and Inclusion.

  • Finance,

audit or business leadership.

  • HR

or people development.

What’s the commitment:

  • Approx.

45 hours per year,

including meeting attendance and preparation, visits to schools, training and

development plus additional time, if required, to assist with panel hearings.
