Unqualified Teacher - Part Time/Temporary - 2 days per week. Start Date 1st September 2026 until 31st August 2027.

We are looking for a motivated and creative individual who would work as an unqualified teacher delivering engaging lessons to pupils from Year 1 to Year 6, as well as covering PPA time.

The successful candidate will:

  • be a person who has experience in Primary Education as a Learning Assistant, HLTA or Cover Supervisor.
  • be someone who can work well as part of a collaborative team, as well as being self-motivated and able to                  work independently.
  • be someone willing and committed to developing and sharing outstanding teaching practice across the primary age range from Year 1 to Year 6.
  • be someone with the ability to enthuse and engage pupils in purposeful learning experiences.
  • be a person who is passionate about children's learning and welfare.
  • be a value led individual with high expectations of achievement and behaviour in themselves and others.
  • be someone who is committed to personal career progression and enhancement.

About Five Ways Primary School:

Five Ways is a large, three form entry primary school with approximately 680 pupils on roll. We have the privilege of working with well-behaved children who are motivated to learn and supportive parents who want the best for their children. Our school is made up of a dedicated team of staff and governors working together to continually move the school forward.
