Unqualified Teacher - Music Specialist - Part Time/Temporary - 3 days per week for 1 year. Start Date 1st September 2026 until 31st August 2027.

This role offers an excellent pathway for career progression towards gaining QTS if this is your long-term aim. The successful candidate will:

  • have experience in Primary Education as a Learning Assistant, HLTA, or Cover Supervisor, with a specialism in music.
  • be able to work well as part of a collaborative team, as well as being self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • be someone who is willing and committed to developing and sharing outstanding teaching practice in music across the primary age range from Year 1 to Year 6.
  • be someone with the ability to enthuse and engage pupils in purposeful learning experiences through music.
  • be passionate about children's learning and welfare.
  • be a values-led individual with high expectations of achievement and behaviour in themselves and others.
  • be someone who is committed to personal career progression and enhancement.
