The Trustees are looking to recruit to the post of Finance Apprentice

Salary: Apprentice Rate for age

36 hrs 40 mins per week / Full year

New Bridge Multi-Academy Trust is a vibrant, aspirational and inclusive multi-academy trust of eight special schools and two specialist post-16 provisions across Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale. As part of the wider New Bridge Group there are also two post-19 provisions. All of the children and young people have an EHCP with the settings supporting a wide spectrum of needs from age 4-19 and beyond. The Trust is proud to be national leaders in Special Education and has a culture of creating outstanding opportunities for all.

We are looking to recruit a proactive Finance Apprentice to assist with providing a high-quality support service to the finance team and to our schools and services within the group.

The duties and responsibilities of the Finance Apprentice will include assisting the purchase ledger team with scheduling invoices for payment, raising monthly sales invoicing, process and reconciling charge cards and assistance in the month end and year end accounts production.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate in their application that they have:

  • Willingness to undertake AAT qualifications
  • Experience of using ICT packages
  • A professional approach to their work and the ability to work effectively with a range of teams and other staff throughout the Trust
  • The ability to work on a full time /full year basis
  • Ability to follow instructions, procedures and policies

Salary: Apprentice Rate for age

Hours of work: Based on 8am 4pm (Monday to Friday)

Contracted hours: 36 hours 40 minutes per week / full year

Status: Fixed Term for 18 months

Based: Ram Mill Business Centre, Gordon Street, Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 9RH

Commencing: As soon as possible
