About GovJobs

GovJobs is an independent job search service that aggregates UK public-sector vacancies — NHS, schools, the Civil Service, and local councils — from official sources into one searchable place.

GovJobs is not a government service and is not affiliated with the NHS, the Civil Service, or any council. We never accept applications ourselves. Every listing links to the official employer or source website, where the actual application takes place.

How it works

We fetch jobs automatically from official feeds and APIs on a schedule, normalise and de-duplicate them, and remove expired or low-confidence listings. Each listing shows when it was last checked and a link to the original advert. You can see which sources we cover, and when each was last synced, on our coverage page.

Who runs GovJobs

GovJobs is an independent project built and operated by Unique Evolution. It is not affiliated with the NHS, the Civil Service, any council, or any government body. Questions, corrections, or data requests are welcome at sales@uniqevo.co.uk.

How GovJobs is funded

GovJobs receives no government funding. It is member-supported: from 1 September 2026, following the apply link on a listing needs a membership of £1 a month, which you can cancel at any time. Searching, reading every listing, saving jobs and email alerts stay open to everyone with an account. The fee pays for the servers that gather and check listings every day.

We also earn from affiliate partnerships with services such as CV writing, where we may receive a commission if you buy something after following one of our links. Those links are always labelled. If we carry advertising, our disclosure page names the partners.

Neither membership fees nor advertising affect which jobs we list or how we rank them. Employers cannot pay to appear, to rank higher, or to have a listing removed, and we do not sell your personal data. Full details are on our disclosure page.

If a listing looks wrong or out of date, use the “Report incorrect listing” link on any job page, or email sales@uniqevo.co.uk, and we will review it.
