Job description
Role: Domestic Abuse Risk Assessor (DARA) Support
District/Department: Performance and Governance
Location: Maltby, Rotherham
Salary: £25,242 - £27,204
Hours: 37
Contract Type: Temporary – 12 months.
As DARA Support you will provide clerical and administrative support to the DARA portfolio.
You will liaise with and act as a specific point of contact for various partnerships and external agencies to share and extract sensitive information relating to domestic abuse perpetrators and victims.
- Check all incoming emails in relation to domestic abuse foreign force investigations and task accordingly.
- Manage all critical markers in relation to domestic abuse.
- Manage the Operation Encompass data incoming from schools countywide.
- Undertake PND checks relating to Domestic Abuse perpetrators.
- Interrogate various computer systems to retrieve data and disseminate results to Probation Officers and colleagues from other Police Forces.
- Research persons and incidents using Connect, CMS, SMART CONTACT, PROCAD and PNC as appropriate.
- General admin tasks on behalf of the DARA Manager and Portfolio including support to the MARAC and DVPO Teams where required.
