  • Ensure analytical products are informed and developed as a result of consultation and feedback with key stakeholders, customers, the wider organisation, and external customers.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and presentations using information from a variety of sources in an appropriate format, and to a level suitable for a variety of audiences, both internal and external to the organisation.

  • Be a professional advocate for analysis by providing advice, direction, and expertise across the force on all analytical matters to contribute to forces plans and the achievement of policing objectives.
  • Deputise for managers within the intelligence department.
  • Coordinate the continued professional development of the analytical function, including implementation of the Intelligence Professionalisation Programme (IPP) or equivalent whilst maintaining own accreditation.
  • Commit to develop professional knowledge and skills in the field of intelligence analysis to ensure implementation of the latest techniques, best practice, and information relevant to the role.
