Job description
The governors at Grace Owen Nursery School are looking for an
inspirational level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the school as soon as possible or
from January 2027. This is initially a temporary post.
This post offers the successful candidate the
opportunity to join our friendly, experienced and supportive staff team. We
work in close partnership with families and build strong attachments with our
children. We value their well-being and involvement in their learning and encourage
their creativity across the curriculum, both indoors and outdoors. We place a high emphasis on communication,
language and thinking skills and we believe in feeding children’s curiosity. We
work hard to build friendships, foster independence and self-confidence and
promote life-long learning skills.
Grace Owen Nursery School is an 80 place setting which has been situated
in Park Hill flats since 1963, moving to its new premises within the renovated
part of the complex in 2016. It is a welcoming and inclusive environment which
serves a diverse and vibrant community, catering for children from the age of
six months to school age.
