Job description
Teach and assess learners on a range of Electrical Installation programmes from Level 1 to Level 3, including apprenticeships. You'll deliver high-quality training, support learner achievement, and contribute to curriculum development while working closely with employers, colleagues and awarding bodies.
- Deliver engaging teaching and assessment across Electrical Installation courses and apprenticeships.
- Monitor learner progress, provide feedback and support achievement.
- Develop schemes of work, learning materials and assessment plans.
- Liaise with employers, awarding organisations and external partners.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement and curriculum development.
Who You Are
You are a qualified Electrician with a current 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS 7671, latest amendment) and relevant industry experience. Ideally, you hold a recognised teaching qualification such as AET, DET or PGCE, alongside an assessor qualification such as CAVA, or are willing to work towards them.
You are an organised and proactive professional with excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues, employers and learners, you are committed to equality, diversity, safeguarding and creating an inclusive learning environment where everyone can succeed
