- Support and manage a small team of Administrative staff
- Deliver a professional and confidential secretarial service to medical staff
- Manage diaries, clinic bookings, and patient follow-up appointments
- Assist the Senior Admin Lead in coordinating work to support staff to ensure efficient workflow
- Liaise with patients, service users, and stakeholders in a compassionate and respectful manner
- Support the coordination of medical rotas and meetings
- Handle sensitive information with the utmost integrity and discretion
Experience in a medical secretary or similar admin role
Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills
Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and use initiative

Essential: - Good General Education (eg. GCSE English and Maths A-C); - QCF Business Administration Level 3 (or equivolent); - QCF Customer Service Level 3 (or equivolent); - QCF Team Leading Level 2/First Line Management Level 3 (or equivolent)
Desirable: - Competent in working with & organising multiple consultants/medical professional diaries & clinics
Essential: - Competent working with a range of Microsoft Office packages (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Access); - Experience of working in a busy office/customer care environment; - Experience of working in a supervisory role and delegating work; - Medical secretarial experience
Desirable: - Competent working with EPR (electronic patient record) systems/software
Essential: - Ability to travel to multiple sites
Desirable: - Own transport
