Candidates must be able to follow and work within defined procedures and have the ability to communicate face to face and by telephone in a helpful manner. You will be required to demonstrate a high level of customer service skills when dealing with potentially distressing situations. Good organisational and time management skills including ability to prioritise effectively are a must.
You will need to be passionate and enthusiastic aboutputting patients at the heart of everything you do. You will be working in a multi-professional team and will need to be able to think on the spot and be empathetic. You will be passionate about our business, creating a culture of continuous improvement.
The post holder will be based at Lanchester Road Hospital and will be required to work shifts between the hours of 07:00am and 8:00pm including weekends.
You should be highly motivated, reliable, and flexible also willing to work at short notice as there may be opportunities for extra hours.
Experience of working or volunteering in a mental health and learning disabilities environment is desirable.
- ITQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification
- NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service (or to be completed within agreed timescale)
- Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above
